TAKE ACTION: CZMP 2016 in Baltimore County

ATTENTION LAND OWNDERS, BUILDERS, DEVELOPERS, and CITIZENS

As you may know, the Comprehensive Zoning Map Process (CZMP) in Baltimore County takes place every four years on a schedule specified by the County Code. During this time, requests for zoning changes may be made by citizens, the County Council, the Planning Board, land owners, and contract purchasers. After the approximately year-long CZMP period, a zoning decision is made by the County Council that is reflected in the final log of issues.

The open filing period for CZMP requests begins September 1, 2015 and ends October 15, 2015. A schematic timeline for the process can be viewed on the County’s website. Request applications need to include: a brief description of the proposed zoning change, a zoning history of the subject property, and should be submitted with supporting documents.
